How to Get Tan Fast and Naturally

Summer is the hottest, most loved season. The sun is shining bright and fondles our skin. The two favorite places for this season are the swimming pool and the beach. But there is something that attracts our attention a lot on these places – the beautiful, chocolate sun tan. Many people find it really difficult to get tan, but the most important thing is to protect our skin first. You don’t want to look like a tomato after you get back from the pool party. The market offers us many different suntan products, and they all promise us beautiful, sexy tanned skin. But there are some other things you should consider first!

1. Hydration

Before you set out for the pool party, there are a couple of things you should do first. In order to get tan, your skin needs to be hydrated really well. It’s very hard to get tan if your skin is dry. That’s why you can take a shower and use an exfoliating soap. You can also use a lotion containing sodium PCA to moisture your skin. Another important product you shouldn’t forget about is sunscreen lotion. If your skin is very light, it’s recommended to use a lotion with a high SPF rating. But no matter what your skin type is, the SPF rating you use should not be less than 15. If you’re planning to get in the water, consider buying a waterproof sunscreen lotion.

2. The swimsuit

If you want to get the perfect tan, you’d better consider what swimsuits you wear. Imagine what your tan will look like if one day you’re wearing a one-piece swimsuit and the next day you’re wearing a bikini. You should pick a single type of swimsuit and stick to it.

3. Moving

Another important part while trying to get tan is moving. When you lie on the beach or on the lounge next to the pool, don’t forget to turn around. It’s up to you how often you’ll turn, but don’t stay 1 hour front and 15 minutes back. Of course, if you don’t want to lie down all day, but you still want to have tan, your alternative is to go jogging, or just take a walk.

There are some home recipes with which you can get tan and you won’t have to buy sunscreen lotions. The first thing you can try is mixing ¼ cup of white lotion with ¼ cup of cocoa powder. Mix the 2 ingredients until the mixture is really smooth and spread it all over your skin. The second recipe you can try is the mixture of 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 cup used coffee grounds. After that spread the mixture on your arms, legs, and face or anywhere else you’d like to have tan, but avoid putting it close to your eyes and nose. Let it stay for about 15 minutes and then wash it off with warm water.

And finally, don’t forget that the most important thing is to protect your skin from the sun beams. If you use the right SPF rating, you will be alright. It’s better to go slower with the tan, but at the end the results will speak for themselves.

  1. my mother and I use baby oil and we put a few to several iodine drops into it depending on how dark we want to tan, works pretty good!!!
